How long should we wait?

An interesting application which shows the remaining term of President Lee Myung-Bak is becoming popular. More than 10thousand people have downloaded since the App was registered on the iPhone App Store on April 4. One of users said “The App is fantastic except President’s term still remaining too many.” According to it, President Lee’s term remains 641 days. Some people, however, criticize it is too far.

Choi Young-Jun, the developer of the App, told in an interview with a newspaper that he does not like President and would like to present his app to President. He hopes that President Lee would realize how many people are waiting for the end of his term and take time for self reflection.

The President of Korea is directly elected to a five-year term with no possibility of re-election. The current President Lee Myung-Bak is 17th and the next presidential election is scheduled on December 19th, 2012.
